Porch Time with T
Through this life, you’ll have those who have hurt you, some physically and some emotionally. Some people just disrespected you or were hateful.
As we get older, (or maybe just me?), we would like to forgive those people for those hurtful things.
Not all people will feel the same and that’s ok.
The best advice my daughter ever gave me was, “Protect your Peace Ma?”
In other words, we must come to the decision that trying to reconnect and hoping others have also forgiven us is not always possible. I may be 63 years old, but I still need to be reminded of this by my 41-year-old daughter. Many of you may need to be reminded as well.
Remember what you’ve been through and what your life felt sucked out from you and how hard it was to get to the good spot you’re in. Please remember to “Protect your Peace.”
Peace Out,
T
