Three Fremont County Rodeo Contestants have qualified for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo on July 12-19th in Rock Springs, WY. Each of them will compete two times and hope to make it in the top twenty. The top twenty go to the “short go” to compete for the National Finals! Best of luck to our Rodeo Athletes!

Myler Maher finished her sophomore year at Sidney CSD. Daughter of Tim & Jen Maher. She qualified in the cutting event. The state of Iowa takes the top 4 in each event to Nationals. See attached picture for that info.

Cade Smith is the son of Shad and Vicki Smith. He just finished his senior year at Sidney CSD. He qualified in bull riding. He will be attending Mid-Plaines Community College in the fall and will be on the rodeo team there.

Nash Moreland is the son of Drew and Alissa Moreland. He just completed his freshman year at Fremont Mills CSD. He also qualified in bull riding.
