Ladies luncheon group aims for conversation, fellowship

Joella Travis recently started a once-a-month luncheon for ladies of the county who are either retired or who are available for a get together.

The first ever Fremont County ladies luncheon took place on Aug. 15 at the Dancin’ Bear in Sidney with 16 attendees.

The group looks to create a positive atmosphere of conversation, sharing and fellowship.

Regular attendance is not required, so it’s perfectly fine to miss one of the meetings and come back for the next one.

The monthly luncheon group is simply a way for neighbors in Fremont County to get together and build county unity. Diverse beliefs and viewpoints are welcome as members are made up of citizens with different views, faiths and lifestyles.

Interested in attending? Contact Joella Travis for more information regarding the next get together.
