Hamburg recently hosted a youth volleyball tournament with six teams in the third and fourth grade division. Hamburg had a 1-1 record. Other town teams were Rock Port, third grade; Rock Port, fourth grade; Sidney third grade, Sidney fourth grade, and Tarkio.

There were 11 teams in the fifth and sixth grade tournament. Hamburg had a 1-2 record. Other teams were Sidney fifth grade, Sidney sixth grade, Shenandoah fifth grade, Shenandoah sixth grade, Riverside Blue, Riverside Gold, Clarinda fifth grade, Clarinda sixth grade, Rock Port fifth grade, and Bedford.

Attendance was 375 people with that number not including players, volunteers and coaches. The total estimated attendance would be closer to 500.

The next home tournament is scheduled for Oct. 12.
