Matthew Moles, Park Manager at Waubonsie State Park reported that 130 people took part in the First Day Hike at the park on Jan. 1, 2025. “It was a perfect day and everyone had a great time,” said Moles. The event was hosted by Waubonsie State Park with help from the Friends of Waubonsie. Hamburg Hometown Pride donated food for the event. Submitted by Teresa Crecelius.
