The Brownville Concert Series presents Darius de Haas

The Brownville Concert Series is thrilled to welcome to Brownville, Darius de Haas in “TIMELESS: From Nat King Cole to Stevie Wonder.” Darius de Haas, of the original Broadway cast of RENT and the singing voice of “Shy Baldwin” from the hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel takes us on a musical journey celebrating the legacy of musical giants like Nat King Cole and Sarah Vaughan.

InstaPot Winner

Grape Community Hospital hosted an InstaPot Party on June 21 at the United Methodist Church in Hamburg. Attendees tried received recipes and enjoyed a tasting. The winner of the Insta Pot giveaway was Pastor Courtney Dake. Event organizers would like to thank everyone who participated in this fun and educational event. Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program accepting applications for the 2026 program year

The Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program is currently accepting applications for the 2026 program year. Eligible communities are those with populations of fewer than 10,000 residents, existing transportation-related issues, and a committee of volunteers willing to dedicate their time and talent to the visioning process. Only communities located within 1 mile of a state or federal highway will be selected.
