Eight entries were selected for open class sweepstakes honors at the 2025 Fremont County Fair.
The Lean, Mean, & Green Award is reserved for 4-H, FFA, and Clover Kids static project(s) that are creative, innovative, or comprised of outstanding engineering, and promotes reduction in the use of resources, repurposing of common materials, or other measures considered environmentally responsible.

The 2025 4-H clothing contest was showcased at a special event, Say It, Set It, Strut It!, on Wednesday, July 16, in the McElroy building on the fairgrounds in Sidney.
Another successful cherry pie auction was held at the Fremont County Fair on July 19. $24,600 was donated by generous buyers at the auction. The average pie price was $547.
