The Hamburg golf team features a roster of eight members, four girls and four boys, for the 2024 season.The new golfers for the boys’ team are senior Payton Ashlock and sophomore Mason Peeler.Those golfers join Ketih Thompson, a sophomore and returning runner up at last year’s state golf tournament, and junior Ian Thompson.Coach Randy Thompson said the new golfers are doing well, have nice swings and will be looking to improve through the course of the season.With four golfers out for the boys’ team, Hamburg is looking to record a team score and be competitive in meets this season.Turning to the girls’ side, the roster will be made up of seniors Emma Barrett and Hailee Barrett, sophomore Hilda Thompson, and freshman Chloye Howard.
