Sidney football celebrates season awards

Bobcat volleyball posted 13-win record in 2024

The Peru State volleyball team finished its fall campaign with a final record of 13-19 which included a mark of 8-10 in the Heart of America Conference.Wins came against Southwestern College (Kan.), Bethany College (Kan.), Briar Cliff University (Iowa), Avila University (Mo.), William Penn University (Iowa), Clarke University, Graceland University (Iowa), University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy, Mid America Nazarene University, Baker University (Kan.), Culver Stockton College (Mo.).

Sidney CC competes at State Qualifier

The Sidney cross country runners competed at the 1A State Qualifying meet at Leon.Three runners took to the course for Sidney and Coach Stephen Meyer said all three runners had good efforts.Alexis Barrett and Carter Buttry had personal best performances and Carter Jorgenson missed a personal record by two seconds.

Junior Cowboys

The Sidney Junior Cowboys football team won the Pride of Iowa Western Division by defeating Stanton, 36-6, and went on to win the Pride of Iowa championship by defeating the Bedford Jr.
