On May 7, Hamburg FFA officers visited with the 6th graders and an incoming freshman who shows interest in joining FFA next year. Officers talked about what FFA is, how it works, and how members can be active within their local chapter.

Hamburg’s Lilly Peters, a 2024 graduate from Sidney High School and freshman track athlete at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, set a personal record at Hastings College on Friday, May 2, at the Great Plains Athletic Conference meet.

Four members of the 8th grade Leadership class in Sidney Volunteered their time to work at the Colonial Theatre in Hamburg on May 3. As a reminder, anyone can volunteer just send a message on the Colonial Theater Facebook or contact Erica Stephens, board president. This is a requirement of 8th Graders to volunteer in their communities!

A fundraising flower sale of artificial arrangements for Memorial Day is set for Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverton Community Building. Refreshments will be served while supplies last. Arrangements are $3 each with proceeds going toward the restoration of headstones at Riverton Cemetery.
