InstaPot Winner

Grape Community Hospital hosted an InstaPot Party on June 21 at the United Methodist Church in Hamburg. Attendees tried received recipes and enjoyed a tasting. The winner of the Insta Pot giveaway was Pastor Courtney Dake. Event organizers would like to thank everyone who participated in this fun and educational event. Sharks Swim Team

The Hamburg Sharks swim team has begun their 2025 summer season. Pictured are members of the team. Hamburg Farm School

Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program accepting applications for the 2026 program year

The Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program is currently accepting applications for the 2026 program year. Eligible communities are those with populations of fewer than 10,000 residents, existing transportation-related issues, and a committee of volunteers willing to dedicate their time and talent to the visioning process. Only communities located within 1 mile of a state or federal highway will be selected.

Fremont County Astro Day Camp

Astro Day Camp was the first day camp of the summer offered by the Fremont County Extension Office. Campers who have completed kindergarten through third grade got to make hoop gliders, paper airplanes, helicopters, and rockets as part of a day full of hands-on learning focused on aerospace engineering! As a treat, the campers even got to try freeze-dried ice cream! Other camps offered this summer include Clover Cookie Factory, Music and Art Day Camp, and Forensic Day Camp. Hamburg FFA
