Grape Hospital Event

Grape Hospital recently hosted an Instant Pot party with 27 people in attendance. Party attendees learned how to use the Instant Pot and how to prep for and make freezer meals. French dip sandwiches were made in the Instant Pot and served at the party. Verlaine Hall won an Instant Pot at the party. Celebrating Teammates in Sidney

TeamMates Mentoring Program Coordinator Donnie Sears gathered Mentors to help serve chilli donated by Wendy’s, cinnamon rolls and sweet treats at the Sidney High School basketball games on Friday, Jan. 17. Free Will Donations were accepted and will be used to take the Mentors and Mentees to the Omaha Lancers Hockey game in March. Mentors and Mentees were recognized at half time of girls game. The mentoring program is growing with leaps and bounds in Sidney with mentees wanting to join, so if you have a passion to make a difference in a young person’s life talk to Mr. Sears at the Sidney High School. Mentors meet with their student for 20 minutes a week usually during lunch period, are able to chat, and both mentor and mentee look forward to the meeting. Submitted by Teresa Crecelius.
