Hospital hosts free movie night

George C. Grape Hospital sponsored a free night at the Colonial Theater in Hamburg over the weekend with 127 in attendance to see Snow White starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. Many Princesses could be found in the audience and a wicked witch handed out apples to all! It was a great night at the theater. Submitted by Teresa Crecelius.

Spring Clean Up at Waubonsie

State Basketball

Helaena Wheeler traveled to Iowa City over the weekend to participate in the State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament. She placed 3rd against some tough opponents.

Food Drive at Hamburg CSD

The Hamburg Charter High School FCCLA Chapter recently hosted its inaugural Food Drive, an effort to bring the community together to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity. The K-6 grade which collected the most items was treated to an ice cream sundae party. Drop-offs were made to the Hamburg CSD between Feb. 25 and 28.
