Farragut Fire and Rescue successfully held their open house and fire prevention week event, giving away 18 door prizes, with the largest being a 32-inch TV. The Sidney Pride Marching Band placed 1st in the 1A Division and 3rd overall out of 41 bands at the Clalrinda SWI Band Jamboree. Thirty Three booths were set up at the Hamburg Fire station, a state trooper brought a wrecked car to talk about seat belt safety, Fremont County Sheriffs office brought a drug disposal box for expired drugs, Free blood pressure screens were provided by Grape Community Hospital, and various swag give aways! They will be drawing for a 3 month Gym Membership on Monday.
