Thompson named to SCC spring dean’s list
Adam R. Thompson of Hamburg, who is studying electrical and electromechanical technology, has been named to the dean’s list of Southeast Community College for the spring 2022 semester.
New fish structure maps added to DNR website
More than 2,000 updated fish structure locations and 215 lake contour maps have been added to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) website at www.iowadnr.gov/Fishing/Fishing-Maps. Anglers can download the fish structure locations to their fish finders and GPS units to easily find brush piles, rock reefs and gravel spawning beds.
Downtown movie series begins June 11 in Nebraska City
The 2022 Downtown Summer Movie Series will continue on Saturday, June 11. The free series features family-friendly movies shown outdoors in the Sunken Parking Lot on Central Avenue Saturday nights at dusk in the summertime.
