A variety of talented acts took part in the 2022 Fremont County Fair Share The Fun event Friday night. Victoria Adkisson (Silver Skylarks) performed a dance routine and received a blue ribbon.

The 2022 4-H Table Setting contest was showcased at a special event, Say It, Set It, Strut It!, on at the Fremont County Fairgrounds. Awards were announced Thursday evening.

The 2022 sweet corn eating contest was well attended on the main stage at the Fremont County Fair. The challenge was to eat 3 ears of sweet corn in the shortest amount of time. Four age groups competed for a coveted corn trophy.

Communication events were a highlight of the Fremont County Fair’s Say It, Set It, Strut It! Event held on the fairgrounds in Sidney. The 2022 communications events were judged by Linda Thompson of Omaha, NE.

The 2022 Round Robin Showcase took place in the show arena on the Fremont County Fairgrounds. Grand or reserve champion senior showman from the four large animal species were asked to enter the ring, trying their hand at competing in showmanship with all four animals--beef, swine, sheep and goat.
