AppleJack 2022 lets “U-Pick” from a variety of events

Julie Davis, CherryRoad Media The 54th annual AppleJack Festival in Nebraska City will offer attendees a unique opportunity: “UPick” from the wide variety of art exhibitions, craft shows, museum events, library activities, and festival highlights to create a memorable visit during the festival’s two weekends. This year’s first weekend of festival fun gets underway with a special preview event from 3 to 7 p.m.

Lewis and Clark features clear view of Big Muddy

Kirt Manion, CherryRoad Media Nebraska City’s Lewis and Clark interpretive Trails and Visitors Center is currently hosting a photo exhibit entitled “Flood Plain, a Clear View of Life on the Big Muddy” with photos by Omaha resident and wildlife conservation photographer Alex Wiles. The exhibit is free to view for any resident in the 68410-area code and will be at the center for roughly one month.

Brownville Concert Series Announces New Executive Director and Appointsments to Board of Trustees

The Brownville Concert Series is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to their Board of Trustees and the addition of an Executive Director to the staff. In January 2022, Lilli Summerlin, Peter Wilson and Marte Mejstrik were elected to join the Brownville Concert Series Board of Trustees. In August 2022, Marte Mejstrik was appointed Executive Director of the Brownville Concert Series.

That was one of the major motiving factors for Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca grad and Omaha resident Mike Straub who is currently traveling America’s Great Loop, a water voyage which circles the eastern third of the United States. How did this adventure come to pass? Brownville Concert Series Welcomes Back Tim Sullivan

The Brownville Concert Series is thrilled to have Western Singer/Songwriter, TIM SULLIVAN! Tim has been a featured performer with Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Tammy Wynette, and Glen Campbell. It’s sure to be a show you won’t want to miss!
