The Plant and Insect Diagnostic Clinic at Iowa State University has welcomed two new diagnosticians who will help diagnose plant and insect issues found in Iowa. Zach Schumm is an insect diagnostician and Chelsea Harbach is a plant disease diagnostician with the Plant and Insect Diagnostic Clinic, which is part of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Fremont County office will be offering an opportunity to attend the Private Pesticide Applicator Continuing Instruction Course (P-CIC), led by Extension Field Agronomist, Aaron Saeugling. This session is scheduled for December 7, 2022, at 1:30 PM at the McElroy Building on the Fremont County Fairgrounds in Sidney, Iowa. On Nov. 12 at 1 p.m., Fremont County deputies were called to the area of 275th Street and Bluff Road near Hamburg for suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway. Deputes made contact with Elizabeth Craft, 28 of Watson, Mo. Craft had numerous felony warrants for her arrest out of the state of Kansas.
