Sidney FFA travels to CDE, Soil Judging
Members of Sidney FFA traveled to Atlantic for the Southwest District Career Development Events Day (CDE) and traveled to participate in District Soil Judging.

Hamburg FFA Feeding Farmers
This year the annual Feed the Farmer event was sponsored by B103 and Arbor Bank along with many local businesses! B103 and Arbor Bank along with the Hamburg FFA fed 30 local farmers pulled pork sandwich meals at Bartlett in Hamburg during the busy harvest.

Grape Hospital Health Fair
Thirty Three booths were set up at the Hamburg Fire station, a state trooper brought a wrecked car to talk about seat belt safety, Fremont County Sheriffs office brought a drug disposal box for expired drugs, Free blood pressure screens were provided by Grape Community Hospital, and various swag give aways! They will be drawing for a 3 month Gym Membership on Monday.

A Day at the Henry Doorly Zoo!
Residents and teammates from Ambassador Health of Sidney enjoyed a fantastic day at the zoo! Visiting the amazing animals and spending time together outdoors, everyone had a blast soaking up the sunshine and making memories.

Blackburn State Park hosts clean up day
Nineteen volunteers from five states participated in Volunteer Cleanup Day at Blackburn State Park in Fremont County.

Homecoming Dance at Sidney
A group of Sidney High School parents honored their students’ wishes to hold the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night of Homecoming weekend versus the traditional Friday eve after the big game. The parents and interested students reached out to United Faith Church in Sidney and held it in a new location this year on a separate night to ensure the players had more time to enjoy the activities. Eighty-nine Sidney Junior High and High School students enjoyed dancing and visiting at the Homecoming event. Decorations were hung, music supplied and snacks catered by the parents. Judging from the feedback, everyone had a great evening.

School presentation focuses on suicide prevention
