When Aimee Wertz-Lutz was working as a post-doctoral research associate in ruminant nutrition and nutritional physiology at Iowa State University, she likely didn’t see Iowa State as part of her professional career. The Colonial Theater is celebrating and expressing gratitude after an outpouring of community support has the theater nearing its goal for fundraising to replace the theater’s projector, allowing for continued service.
You may have recently heard a little boom, or a few of them, as the town served as the host site for a Civil War Lunch and Learn event. The event had a great turnout with attendees witnessing the firing of a civil war cannon. Organizers send thanks to the city for its support of this program!
