Homecoming Dance at Sidney

A group of Sidney High School parents honored their students’ wishes to hold the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night of Homecoming weekend versus the traditional Friday eve after the big game. The parents and interested students reached out to United Faith Church in Sidney and held it in a new location this year on a separate night to ensure the players had more time to enjoy the activities. Eighty-nine Sidney Junior High and High School students enjoyed dancing and visiting at the Homecoming event. Decorations were hung, music supplied and snacks catered by the parents. Judging from the feedback, everyone had a great evening.
