An upcoming episode of Road Trip Iowa, featuring Iowa’s scenic byways, will be shown at the Colonial Theater in Hamburg on Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m.
A fundraising flower sale of artificial arrangements for Memorial Day is set for Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverton Community Building. Refreshments will be served while supplies last. Arrangements are $3 each with proceeds going toward the restoration of headstones at Riverton Cemetery. Nine Hamburg FFA members traveled to Ames to attend the 97th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference.
Washington PEP 4H visited Arbor Tree Farm on April 13 to celebrate Earth Day. Kids got to explore the farm, play outside, and take a hike on one of the trails. We were missing a few members who were attending State FFA representing Southwest Iowa, but we gained a few new faces. It’s not too late to join 4H! Our next meeting is scheduled for May 4th, 2025, 4PM at the Hamburg School. We will be registering events for fair and preparing photos for static exhibits!
Spring is finally here, and for many of us that brings the joy of returning to outdoor activities, planning summer vacations, and… well, allergies.
