Local Iowa Food Empowerment 5b (LIFE 5B), an organization committed to fostering food security, education, and collaboration within Fremont, Page, Taylor, Mills, Montgomery, Adams, and Pottawattamie Counties, recently received a $25,000 #BelieveInLocal grant from First Interstate Bank. The grant is a part of one of First Interstate’s signature outreach efforts, #NeighborsFeedingNeighbors. The nomination of LIFE 5B was made by Jessica Jones of the Red Oak branch of First Interstate Bank. The grant is one of forty $25,000 grants by First Interstate which aim to help local nonprofits that are providing invaluable services within their communities.
