Lourdes Central Catholic announced today that Mr. Taylor Johnson will join Lourdes Central Catholic as the new assistant principal for the 2023-24 school year. Johnson will assume his duties this summer.
The Nemaha Natural Resources District (NRD) is celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of the Steamboat Trace on April 15, 2023. The Grand Re-Opening ceremony will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Peru Depot Trailhead located in Peru. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has finalized a drought plan for use by local, county, state agencies and governments in the event of droughts in the state. The Iowa Drought Plan was developed in partnership with the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
