Fremont County students are getting ready to return to school to start the 2025-2026 year at Hamburg and Sidney schools.

Hamburg Community Schools will host registration all day on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Families can either register at the school office or online at https://hamburg.onlinejmc.com.

Arbor Bank and Grape Community Hospital are sponsoring a “Back to School Bash” on Friday, Aug. 22, at the Hamburg City Park beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a picnic and an outdoor movie.

First day of classes for Hamburg students will be Monday, Aug 25. Early dismissals at 1:30 p.m. are planned for Monday, Aug. 25, and Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Sidney Schools will hold Back to School Night on Thursday, Aug. 21. Elementary students can meet their teachers and bring their supplies from 6 to 7 p.m. Junior/Senior High students can also come Back to School from 6 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 21.

The fall semester starts for Sidney students on Monday, Aug. 25. Early dismissal at 1:15 p.m. is planned for the first day.
