Come out and support at the 2025 Fremont County Fair

Contestants and organizers at this year’s Fremont County Fair are encouraging the community to attend and show support for fair exhibitioners this year.

The community has shown great support for all sorts of sports, from football and basketball, to volleyball, baseball, softball, wrestling and dance. And they’re more than welcome at fair events as well.

The Fremont County Fair starts next week and our 4-H and FFA families would like to invite you to fill the bleachers on a warm summer day to watch the kids, some of whom practice with a 1300 pound steer that doesn’t always want to walk or a 140 pound lamb that doesn’t want to get on the stand for the 100th time. Maybe it’s a 280-pound hog that just wants to stay in the cool barn, a stubborn goat that doesn’t like the chain, or a horse that might have a bad day, or just might run a personal best!

Come check out the air-conditioned McElroy Building for all the non-livestock exhibits. These kids have heart and dedication and put hours into their creations!

Let’s fill the bleachers, barns, and buildings to show these kids that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and, because of them, the future is in good hands.
