The Nebraska baseball team wrapped up its home schedule with a three-game series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, against the Michigan Wolverines.
After winning the series 2-1, the Huskers’ season record moved to 26-26 overall and 13-14 in the Big 10 Conference. With three games left in the regular season, the Huskers are No. 9 in the conference standings. The top 12 teams in the conference standings will advance to play in the Big 10 Conference tournament in Omaha, which starts on May 20.

Softball
The No. 19 rated Nebraska softball team, 39-13 overall and 17-5 in the Big 10 Conference, will open play in the NCAA postseason with a regional round clash against UConn at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at Baton Rouge, La.
Nebraska is coming off a semifinal berth in the Big 10 Conference tournament. The Huskers entered tourney play as the No. 3 seed and defeated Penn State in the quarterfinals. That victory set up a semifinal round clash against UCLA with the Bruins coming out on top and advancing to the championship round where they lost to tournament champion Michigan.
