The Sidney girls’ and boys’ golf teams were in action last week for tournaments at Nebraska City and Shenandoah.

The boys’ team finished fourth with a 360 at Nebraska City’s Wildwood Golf Course.

Hayden Thompson placed fourth with an 92. Kolt Payne was 10th with an 87. Other scores were Carter Jorgenson, 95; Michael Hensley, 96; and Isaac Hutt, 112.

The Sidney girls placed second with a 405 at Shenandoah.

Marley Shull placed 11th with a 93.

Other scores were Alyssa Dowling, 99; Jocelyn Tackett, 105; Ellie Ward, 108; and Ashlyn Hayes, 134.

Sidney Boys at NC Tri

The Cowboys finished second behind Waverly with a 177 during triangular action at Nebraska City’s Wildwood Golf Course on Monday, April 21. Hayden Thompson led the way with a 41. Other scores were Kolt Payne, 43; Michael Hensley, 46; Carter Jorgenson, 47; and Isaac Hutt, 48.

Sidney Boys at Lenox

Hayden Thompson scored an individual second place medal with a 76 and the Sidney boys’ golfers took fourth with a 326 at the Lenox golf tournament on Saturday, April 19.

Other scores were Michael Hensley, 84; Carter Jorgenson, 86; Kolt Payne, 86; Isaac Hutt, 91; and Grant Whitehead, 91.
