Fremont County voter turnout at 73 percent for general election

The Fremont County Clerk’s Office has released unofficial results from the 2024 general election.

Seventy-three percent of the county’s registered voters participated in the election, with 3,795 total ballots cast.

In the presidential race, Donald Trump and JD Vance received 2,711 votes, while Kamala Harris and Tim Walz received 1,023 votes.

U.S. Fourth District Representative Randy Feenstra received 2,525 votes, and Ryan Melton received 974.

In the District 8 State Senate race, Mark Costello received 2,592 votes, and Ryan Lee Roenfeld received 956.

In the District 16 State Representative race, David Sieck received 2,655 votes, and Candella Foley-Finchem received 873 votes.

In the Fremont County Board of Supervisors race, Jeff Shearer received 2,032 votes and Chris Clark received 1,628 votes.

In the Fremont County Auditor’s race, Dee Owen received 3,374 votes.

In the Fremont County Sheriff’s race, Kevin Aistrope received 3,220 votes.

In the County Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner race, David Carl Roberts received 2,288 votes, Mark Kilpatrick received 2,250 votes, and Sheryl G. Sanders received 2,312 votes.

In the County Agricultural Extension Council race, Amanda Moore received 2,124 votes, Ashley Smith received 2,110 votes, Jeffrey T. Johnson received 2,076 votes, and Scott Lowthorp received 2,030 votes.
