A 24-6 fourth quarter margin gave Exira-EHK a 46-32 win over the Sidney Cowboys on Friday, Sept. 20.

Michael Hensely passed the ball for 159 yards on 11 completions and had 15 carries for 83 yards to lead the Cowboy offense in the loss.

Kolt Payne caught seven passes for 103 yards. Braedon Godfread was the leader on defense with 13 stops.

Sidney Volleyball

After a four-set loss to East Mills on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Cowgirls played at the OABCIG tournament on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Scores from the East Mills match were 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, and 25-17.

All four of the matches from Saturday were wins.

Sidney beat AHSTW, 14-21, 21-12 and 15-10; Kinsley-Pierson, 21-15 and 21-14; Coon Rapids-Bayard, 16-21, 21-14 and 15-9; and Lawton Bronson, 24-22 and 21-18.
