Hamburg Welders ready for new year

The Hamburg Welding program has eight returning students and nine first year students for the 2024-25 school year.

The program graduated three seniors last year.

Over the summer, the program had four student welders employed on a paid internship.

The program completed multiple mobile and shop projects through the summer.

The most notable project was custom handrail and over 1,850 feet of pipe fencing.

Hamburg’s welders built a portable animal pen that was used by the Sidney Brew during rodeo weekend. Multiple projects are planned to get the crew going for this new school year, but the students are always looking for more to do from the community. The program has some big changes to improve and further its work this year and are looking forward to what 2024/2025 has in store.
