Long time Sidney Librarian retires

After 12 years of serving community book lovers, Sue Dyke is retiring from the Sidney Public Library. Sue has been a book lover since she was big enough to climb the two flights of stairs to the Public Library in Kingsley, Iowa. She has volunteered or worked at libraries since she was very young and decided to continue the tradition when she retired from working as a school teacher in Sidney. Sue started working at the Library in 2012 and has worked with patrons of all ages from kids to seniors. Sue says she is looking forward to having more time to read!
