Twenty Five attended the First Annual Hamburg FFA BBQ at the Hamburg School. FFA instructor Hunner Mascher wishes to extend a big thank you to all FFA members and parents for attending! Special guests in attendance were Nora Pickhinke, Alan Spencer, and Charlie Zanker.
The Nebraska football team will return to action for an 11 a.m. game at home against Houston Christian on Saturday, Sept. 13.

When I was growing up, the word Superhero meant “Underdog” or “Batman.”
Long before children say their first words or pick up a pencil, they’re learning through their bodies. They kick, reach, roll, crawl and explore - hardwired to interact with the world through movement. From the very beginning, motor and sensory experiences are how babies discover their environment and how their brains begin to grow and organize.
If you know the letters you can easily find fiction books at the Hamburg Public Library. BB is for board books, E is for easy picture books, JF indicates junior fiction, YA represents young adults, F designates adult fiction, and LPF means large print fiction. Finally PB specifies ones in paperback.

Fremont County’s K-9 Deputy, Sally, is returning to the classroom this fall alongside her handler Logan Roberts and will serve students in the Sidney and Fremont-Mills schools as a trained crisis response therapy K-9. Submitted by Teresa Crecelius.
