1,000 Career Points
Braedon Godfread scored his 1,000th career point during the Sidney boys’ basketball team’s win over Lourdes Central Catholic from Nebraska City on Saturday, Jan. 18. Submitted by Teresa Crecelius.
Sidney Fourth Grade Basketball
The Sidney fourth grade boys’ basketball team finished as the champions at the Clarinda Tournament. The team was coached by Luke Buttry, Luke Stockstell, and Jake Holt. Players are Owen Zavadil, Greyson Buttry, Jaxon Holt, Lane Stephens, Brantley Shearer, Brexton Mather, Kyle Stockstell, Killian Sherwood, Liam Blackey, and Kevin Jordan. Submitted by Teresa Crecelus.
