If mystery is your genre of choice, this selection of new books at the Hamburg Public Library will keep you reading for weeks.For example, Anthony Horowitz’s latest whodunit is “Close to Death.” According to the publisher, “Detective Daniel Hawthorne is once again called upon to solve a seemingly unsolvable case—a gruesome murder in an idyllic gated community in which suspects abound.”One would not normally think of Bingo as a death sport, but that’s not the case in “Varnished Without a Trace” by Misty Simon.
