A 14-0 fourth quarter shut out expanded on a six-point halftime lead and sent the Cowboy football team to a 44-24 win over Griswold on Senior Night at the football field in SidneyFour senior cheerleaders and seven senior football players were honored.The football players were #6 - Michael Hensley, # 9 - LaDarius Albright, #5 - Andreas Buttry, #10 - Braedon Godfread, #54- Mason Dovel, #75 - Isaac Hutt, and #24 - Kolt Payne.The Cowboy team was led by Michael Hensley, both through the air with seven completions 110 yards and a touchdown, and on the ground with 147 rush yards on 18 attempts with a touchdown.Aiden Stenzel was the receiving leader with four grabs, 76 yards and a touchdown.LaDarius Albright was the team’s tackle leader on defense.With the win, Sidney moved its season record to 2-1 under first-year Head Coach Eli Bates.
