Improvements at the Clayton Sports Complex in Hamburg are getting close to wrapping up ahead of the summer season.The project began in December of 2022 with the City of Hamburg seeking bids on electrical work and repairs to the fence, tennis court, restrooms and concession stand.Although the bidding process was not easy, Hamburg Mayor Harry Adams, City Clerk Amanda Driever and Hamburg Council member Mike Stenzel remained determined to get the work done and the project eventually moved forward.Fence work was among the first of the completed projects and was followed by electrical work and concrete work on the tennis courts.
