Farragut Community Hometown Pride hosts soup supper

Farragut Community Hometown Pride, the Farragut Fire Department and Admiral Farragut Trail volunteers hosted a Soup Supper on Saturday, March 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.Farragut Community Hometown Pride volunteers help with the rodeo parade, Trunk or Treat, the Soup Supper, painting town buildings and park structures, Cookies with Santa, an ADA-compliant picnic table and new swing seats in the park, barn quilt, the park zip line, flower pots in downtown Farragut, Battle with the Bulls event staff, and the First Responders Night Out.Meetings are once a month to coordinate projects and activities for the Farragut community.

Relax and Unwind team overwhelmed by support

Long lines and massive support greeted the Relax and Unwind Mobile Coffee business during a recent trip to Sidney and that experience continues to drive the enthusiasm of a team of individuals who are glad to be doing what they love.Sisters Keely and Stormy along with their husbands Tim Rogers and Kaleb Kahue took over Relax and Unwind from the business’ founders, Josh and Kayti Hayes, at the end of 2023 and are working on arrangements to operate the traveling trailer full time.For now, the foursome will get exposure by establishing themselves through pop-up opportunities in the surrounding small towns of Southwest Iowa, Southeast Nebraska, and Northwest Missouri.
