If you have pain on the bottom of your foot at the heel, especially when you take your first steps of the day, you likely have plantar fasciitis. One of the most common causes of foot pain, plantar fasciitis pain can subside with time, but sometimes the pain keeps people from doing what they love, whether that be running, walking, or other pleasures of life. I once saw a young woman suffering from plantar fasciitis who got some relief from an injection. A few years later she returned wanting another injection so she could dance pain-free at her own wedding.

A: Nearly two decades ago, I started looking under the hood of the system Congress created in 1984 to regulate the nation’s organ procurement system with passage of the National Organ Transplant Act. That federal law provided the framework for the national organ donation, recovery and transplant system.

Tarkio Tech plans job fair for April 18

On Tuesday, April 18, Tarkio Tech will be hosting a Job Fair for its 2023 graduates and it is open to the public. Fifty-two companies from the region have been invited to send representatives. Many of these companies will be arriving with contracts in hand. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and will conclude at 4 p.m. This is a come and go fair, so you can work around your schedule. Companies will be set up on the first and second floor of Thompson Learning Center.
