Sidney football looking to make an impression

Kirt Manion, CherryRoad Media The 2022 version of the Sidney High School football team is hoping to leave an impression on opponents this fall. Shawn Thompson, who is taking the reins from long-time Sidney Head Coach Donnie Sears, said the Cowboys team goal is to have opponents leaving the field on Friday nights thinking, “Wow, Sidney brings it and the boys play with lots of heart and fire.” Thompson also noted that it is important that the athletes represent the Sidney school with class.

Rabbit Show Results

The 2022 Fremont County Fair rabbit show was on the main stage at the Fremont County Fair. In the individual fryers class, a purple ribbon went to Michelle Adkisson (Silver Skylarks).

Horse Show Results

The 2022 Fremont County 4-H and FFA Horse Show was on the fairgrounds in Sidney. In the halter mare 3+ class, blue ribbons went to Cooper Avey (Riverside Rockets), Mavryc Morgan (Fremont County Fletchings), Noah Howe (Riverside Rockets), and Czandrya Morgan (Fremont County Fletchings).

Dog, Cat & Pet Show

The 2022 Fremont County Fair Dog, Cat and Pet show brought a variety of beloved pets to the fairgrounds. Results for the dog show included the following: In the intermediate dog showmanship class, Lana Alley (Riverside Rockets) received a purple ribbon.
