Each semester, the registrar’s office at Southwestern Community College (SWCC) announces students named to the dean’s honor list and the president’s honor for outstanding academic performance. Students who complete at least 12 credit hours and obtain a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average during the semester qualify to be placed on the dean’s honor list.

The 2022 Waubonsie Horse Camp, hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Fremont County, was held June 24-26 at the Fremont County Fairgrounds. In total, 16 fourth-12t grader 4-H’ers from Fremont, Mills, Page, West Pottawattamie, Adair, Madison, and Adams counties attended the camp.
Hamburg’s summer school program hosted a field trip to Nebraska City’s Lewis and Clark Center. As part of the summer program, Thursdays are dedicated to field trips that will help build background knowledge. The program that lasted until June 30 with kids from kindergarten through 6th grade participating.
