The dietitian team will host educational events, including virtual store tours and cooking classes, as well as an in-person health fair at select locations.
Naig expands online pesticide applicator testing options
Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig has announced that the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship’s Pesticide Bureau has expanded the option for online testing to all commercial and private pesticide applicator category exams. The Department also strongly encourages pesticide applicators to apply for certification using the online self-service portal to avoid delays in the spring.

Reynolds announces $210M in broadband grant awards
Governor Reynolds and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) have announced the latest recipients of the Empower Rural Iowa Broadband Grants Program, including a grant for Fremont County. Midwest Data Center received $299,797.20 in grant fundes for the MDC Fremont County Fiber Project.
