Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and Iowa Central Community College are offering a fourday workshop that will prepare attendees to become certified as Commercial Pesticide Applicators. This course will focus on materials needed to take the Iowa Core Manual Exam and Categories 1A (Ag Weed Control), 1B (Ag Insect Control) and 1C (Ag Disease Control).

The Fremont County Community Foundation reminds Fremont County nonprofits that the deadline to apply for grant funds is Tuesday, Feb. 1. Applications are currently being accepted online for the spring grant cycle with approximately $125,000 available to support Fremont County nonprofit organizations and community projects.
