Hamburg United Fund distributes $9,500

Funds were distributed to local organizations recently thanks to the annual Hamburg United Fund drive.

A total of $9,500 was made available to the following organizations: Friends of Hamburg Library, represented by Janet Rummell; George C. Grape Hospital Auxiliary, represented by Judy Holliman, president; Hamburg Youth Sports and Baseball, represented by Kyla Tiemeyer; Hamburg Cub and Boy Scouts, represented by Mike Thompson, leader; Colonial Theater, represented by Erica Stephens; Hamburg Inner Church Council, represented by Jim Burnette; Hamburg Heritage Hall, represented by Chris Bennett, president; Hamburg Hometown Pride, represented by Peggy Wilson, co-chair; and Salvation Army of Council Bluffs, represented by Major Donna Miller of the Council Bluffs Salvation Army (not pictured).

The Hamburg United Fund Board of Directors extends its thanks to all who donated and made this program possible.

There were donations from outside the community from people with Hamburg connections.
