Davenport Central had three players in double figures and spoiled Burlington High School's girls basketball season opener, 52-26, at Davenport Monday night.

Aliiyah Morgan and Adriauna Mayfield scored 11 points each for Central and Aniah Smith added 10 points. Mayfield had eight rebounds and Smith grabbed seven.

Burlington (0-1) opens Southeast Conference play Friday at Keokuk (0-2). Central improved to 2-1.

L-M 56, WILTON 50: The Sanders sisters combined for 40 points and led Louisa-Muscatine to a come-from-behind victory at Letts.

Wilton led 37-32 through three quarters, but the Falcons took off on a 24-13 run in the final eight minutes to grab the victory. Louisa-Muscatine's Kylee Sanders poured in a game-high 26 points and Hailey Sanders finished with 14. McKenna Hohenadel had eight for the Falcons and Hanna McConnaha added five.

Kelsey Drake led Wilton with 20 points.

Louisa-Muscatine (2-0) plays Highland (1-2) at Riverside Tuesday. It was Wilton's season opener.

OTTUMWA 56, MOUNT PLEASANT 43: The Bulldogs defeated Mount Pleasant in a non-conference game at Ottumwa.

Isabel Ashton led Mount Pleasant with 12 points. Sydni Coleman scored nine and Lydia Stewart added seven.

Mount Pleasant (0-2) begins Southeast Conference play at Fort Madison (1-1) Friday. Ottumwa improved to 2-0.
