Jackson Gorham and Connor Owen helped the SWI golf team move on to districts by winning their tie breakers on Friday, May 11 at Shenandoah.

“I am proud of the boys,” Coach Janice Shanno said.  “The boys have come a long way this season with their play and confidence on the course. Bryson and Zayne have been consistent all season. Connor Owen, Treyton Gubser, Clayton Stille, and Jackson Gorham have come along way this season with the way they are playing. This week they have put their game together and have played their best.”

As a team, SWI shot a 360.  Mount Ayr placed first with a team score of 341.
Clarinda, Missouri Valley, and SWI were in the hunt to take the second place spot, but thanks to Gorham and Owen’s 5th and 6th place scores, SWI took second.

Bryson Duncan continues to have a dominating year by shooting a team low of 84.
Zayne Osborn came away with a score of 89.
Treyton Gubser scored a 93.  Clayton stille carded a 94.  Gorham shot a 106 and Owen finished with a 108.
