Ronald E. "Ronnie" Keedy

Nebraska City - Ronald E. "Ronnie" Keedy, age 71 of Nebraska City passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Ambassador in Nebr. City.

Ronald Eugene Keedy was born on December 8, 1949 in Auburn, NE; the son of Harlan V. and LaVonne (Hendrickson) Keedy. The family later moved to Hamburg, IA, where he graduated from Hamburg High School with the Class of 1969.

After high school, he worked for the former Interstate Nurseries in Hamburg. He later began working at the former American Beef/Missouri Beef Company in Nebraska City and continued

with the company for some 33 years; retiring from Cargill.

He enjoyed race cars and racing, watching sports and fishing and hunting.

Ronnie is survived by his sister Alice Gee and husband Elliot of Palmyra, NE; nephew Lance Gee and wife Jennifer of Palmyra, NE; niece Lori Gee of Eagle, NE; five grand nieces and nephews: Alexis, Ethan, Weston, London and Alivia; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Family Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, followed by Celebration of Life at the Blue Moon in Hamburg, IA.

Memorials may be given to the Mt. Olive Cemetery Association.
