Steven A. Plympton, 56, of Lincoln, died Jan. 9, 2018, in Philadelphia, Pa.
He was born Aug. 23, 1961, in Nebraska City, to Ivan A. and Carol (Runkles) Plympton.
He was currently with Nipro Pharmapacking, as production supervisor.  
He enjoyed time spent with his family and many friends.
Family members include his wife Laurie, of Lincoln; daughters, Rebecca Cobbs, of Bellevue, and Tonya Plympton of Aurora, Colo.; son Jeremy Plympton, of Jacksonville, N.C.; grandchildren, Trevor Plympton, Colton Cook, Hunter Cook, Dominic and Anthony Moto, Natalie Procopio and Wynter and Lily Plympton; brother Robert and Dawn Plympton; many nieces, nephews, co-workers and extended family.
Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Patty Cote and Sharron Greene and grandson, Bentley Cook.
Funeral Services were  to be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nebraska City, 68410.  Burial was to take place at 3 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln.  Visitation was to be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, with family present from 6-8 p.m., at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE 68503.
