Thomas Roger Blevins, age 76 of Nebraska City died July 31, 2017, at his home.  
Tom was born Nov. 4, 1940, in Nebraska City, the son of Earl and Bernice (Beers) Blevins.  
Tom served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War.  
He married Mary K. Garrett July 17, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  
Tom was self-employed in building construction as a mason.  He lived in Nebraska City his entire life and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He had a special love for animals.  
Survivors include his wife Mary of Nebraska City; daughters, Petty McKenny of Nebraska City and Kathy Deheer and husband Kevin of Ackworth, Iowa; step daughters, Jodi Walters and husband Dan of Nebraska City, Julie Dunkle and husband Donn of Lawrence, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Blevins and wife Rosemary.
Graveside services for the inurnment of ashes were to be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.  
There will be no viewing or visitations.
Military honors will be conducted by the Offutt Air Force Funeral Honors Team. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed at   Marshall Funeral Chapel of Nebraska City is in charge of arrangements.
