Rosalyn J. Grundman, 89, of Syracuse, passed away on November 15th, 2019 at The Greene Place in Seward. She was born on November 29, 1929 to Earl & Ethel (Powell) Rowe on the family farm near Sterling.

Rosalyn attended district 24 and graduated from Cook High School in 1947. She married Darold A. Grundman on June 4th, 1950 at the United Methodist Church in Cook. Rosalyn worked on the farm with Darold. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Goldenrod Extension Club and served as treasurer for 12 years for the women’s fellowship. She also served as a board member of district 41 and was a 4-H leader.

Rosalyn enjoyed genealogy research, photography and spent many hours crocheting and embroidering. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her Children: Larry (Cheryl) Grundman, Connie (Doug) Kershner, Leslie (Fran) Grundman; Grandchildren: Christine (Jon) Trombino, Shawn Grundman, Rebecca Grundman, Chad (Valerie) Kershner, Nathan Kershner, Karys Grundman, Celia Grundman; Great Grandchildren: Mallory Grundman, Keigan & Jaisa Kershner; Sister: Geraldine Neemann; Brother: Ronnie Rowe.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Darold, Daughter: Patricia Grundman, Brothers: Hubert Rowe, Walter Rowe and Sister: Ruby Miller

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 10:30 A.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. Burial will follow at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
