Glen Comer, age 94, of Union, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Morton Place Assisted Living in Nebraska City, following an extended illness. Glen was born March 22, 1924, at the family farm near Union to George William Comer and Geneva Irene (Pell) Comer. He was a 1942 graduate of Union High School and farmed near Union all his life.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Lou Hickey and Gladys Eacret; brother, George “Purley” Comer; and a niece, Carol Ann Hickey.  
He is survived by several nieces and nephews including Lloyd Hickey of Overton, Linda Cozette of Bellevue, Richard Eacret of Nebraska City, Rose Eggert and husband Fred of Blairstown, Mo.; and Joe Eacret of Nebraska City; other family and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at East Union Cemetery near Union with Chaplain Richard Bristol of Tabitha Hospice officiating.  Visitation will be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City.  
Memorials will go to the Cass County Historical Museum in Plattsmouth and to East Union Cemetery.
